Ok, so, today was the day. Braces are off!!!! I have teeth...just ordinary, everyday, like most other people's, teeth. Never, ever had that before!
There is still a small gap in the front centre (which is fine) whilst we sort all the retaining but, oh boy, til I go back this afternoon to get the temporary retainer, I have, just, teeth!
Been my life's dream, this...
Feeling a bit emotional, tbh!

7 months to the day...so happy! Now starts the work of retaining, which will be tricky cos my teeth are about the fastest moving part of my entire body but, well, temp retainer is in and here's to the rest of my toothy life!
Keep going, people...it is sooooooo worth it!!

Congratulations! Bet they look great!
Fully braced on the 31st of July 2015 with Suresmile linguals on upper arch, and American Orthodontics 'Radiance' on lower arch.
Sentence: 18 months with early release at 14 months for good behaviour.

@ The Professor...I had terrible gaps which have just looked vile my whole adult life. However, for the treatment, it counted for me as the spaces were already there and, as I said, my teeth are the only nippy body parts I have!!! Retaining will be a big job as they will want to move, fast, immediately.
@djspeece...I think I'll keep the bits, just in case. I will have a bonded retainer inside the front top 6 so think I may need the wax again before i'm done! However, it's bloody brill and, if the Queen needs a temporary stand in, I'm her gal! (not being eligible to run for President!)
The support and info here has been immeasurable.
