Has anyone had Slow Palatal Expansion?

It seems like many of you have had the Rapid Palatal Expander, but has anyone had the slow one? Please share your experiences! :D

What's the difference between rapid expansion and slow expansion?

Ha ha, well, slow palatal expansion is an extremely gradual process but uses the same equipment as its rapid counterpart. RPE is intense and vicious and hurts and has an allegedly higher relapse rate than slow expansion, but works great for some people. It doesn't usually have issues when used on kids, but most of us on this forum aren't kids :wink:
