Hi, I just got my braces a few days ago and I've noticed that an exposed wire is scratching the side of my teeth. The left side of my mouth is extremely messed up where the top and bottom teeth barely touch; for the most part when I bite down they are beside each other. I have gaps in my mouth because my orthodontist recommended that I take some teeth out before the treatment and now I have several parts of my mouth where it's just wire. It doesn't really bother me, but the side of one tooth ends up always scratching the area where the wire is located. I'm worried that over time the enamel will wear down and I'll have more problems to deal with.
