So I had third month adjustment last Thursday.
So if you read my previous thread, you would know that I was having problems with my headgear. It was just so hard to sleep in it that I wore it for a week then gave up.

So at this appointment, I got a new wire for the upper teeth and bottom too. I think the size is 16?
Is that a thicker wire?
Guess what? They gave me what I've always wanted...
POWER CHAINS!!!
So the first day and second, the pain was unbearable.
Literally felt like my teeth were all loose, especially for my molars.
Second day, I poked my tongue on my pre molar extraction on the left and it definitely got smaller. Even thou I couldn't see it, I felt it. Right side, not much progress.
So yesterday, the gap that was getting closed up got bigger??? What? I read in here that sometimes it's bigger but it has gotten huge...
And somehow my gap on the bottom didn't budge a bit. If I could have any gap to close, it would be the bottom because it's bigger and right in the middle. Ugh so embraassing.... I actually cover it with wax sometimes because that's how much I hate it.
So haven't wore my headgear yet but my ortho told me I didn't have to sleep with it, he just needs 6 hours a day so that's a good thing. Gotta do something with Tuesday and Thursday because I work but I'll find time.
Just wanted to give u guys an update,
I'll post my pics tomorrow because I'm at school now lol.
