Hello everyone!
So I'm having my braces fully removed in about five days after wearing them for 24 months! My Ortho removed the molar bands in the back a few days ago and on Wednesday I will have the brackets removed. I've noticed that since my bands were removed only four days ago, a gap has been forming between my front top teeth and my floss seems to slide much easier between some of my molars too.
I'm a bit nervous! Will this be fixed when my Ortho adds the bonded top and bottom retainers? I'm also going to be using a removable retainer in addition to bonded for the top.
Thanks so much!!

Re: Gap forming just before removal
Congrats on getting so close to finishing off!
You'll want to visit your doctor to make sure everything is where it should be before our braces come off. It is possible that the wire was tied in differently because there were no molar bands, allowing some space to form. Good luck!
