Getting carded again....all the time! Seriously, anyone else experience this?
At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but today I went to grab some beer and the cashier had already completed the transaction when she must have caught a glimpse of the hardware: "oh and uh...can I just see your ID real quick?"
I think it's hilarious! I haven't gotten carded since I was 22 and very pregnant, walking though a place to gamble in Vegas. I'm over 40 now and I don't think even the braces would fool anyone into thinking I needed to prove it. But unless we take a trip to Nevada I doubt I'll have the chance to get carded for anything. I don't buy anything that would necessitate ID unless you count Sudafed at the pharmacy.
I haven't saw there to be a difference between how often i get carded from before braces to after, i get carded way more often at Walmart for wine coolers than i ever do at the liquor store for 1.75L of liquor.
Lots of crimes here
1. The upper molars bite too far ahead of the lower molars
I'm from the UK so we only have to be 18 to buy alcohol. I'm 27 and get asked for ID all the time. I feel it might be because of braces but I've made a point of trying not to show them and it still happens. Maybe I'm subconsciously giving something away.
Haha, I look young for my age (I'm 31 now), so I was starting to think it was weird that NO ONE wanted to card me anymore (even when I was waving my ID in front of their face!!)! Then I got braces, and now EVERYONE wants to card me! LOL.
I used to work in a liquor store. Funny, when you card people who are underage they get pissed. When you card people who are legal they get pissed, too, although they should be flattered. Hope you get carded for the rest of your life.

Speaking of bars...
I was just -- literally *just* -- at a bar when a guy came up and started talking with one of my friends. I didn't know who he was but my friend seemed to know him well enough. I caught sight of his braces and he caught sight of mine.
Before leaving, he was like "hey braces bro!" I was like "yep! 28 and in braces!" I think he was 22? We had a good laugh about it and were just like "f--- it! Get it done!" Brothers in arms -- er, braces
