I had surgery on my impacted canines in July and since then only one of the two teeth has started to come through. Yesterday my orthodontist threaded a lot of zing string connecting the chain on the tooth to my braces and it's really hurting me! Much more than the last time she did it! I was just wondering what the zing string actually does and how long approximately will it take for my tooth come down?
Mine would move noticeably after a couple of days after an adjustment. The ortho would pull so hard that it would feel like a burning sensation as she was puling. The pain is usually a good sign that things are moving. I could always tell when there was movement because it was like an itch, slight bit of pain but not much xx
