Welcome! This group has been a great source of info both before and after getting my braces. Just reading over and over "You'll get used to it," has been a comfort. :D

Your ceramics look beautiful! I honestly wish I had those. I have Innovation C, and although they are "clear"..meh...theyre not really haha. I am not a fan of mine, but maybe I will be later?

Anyway - love yours, and good luck on your journey.

Thank you all! I am 3 1/2 weeks in now. I can say there hasn't been any real pain since around day 5. I have the ceramic brackets with the "obscure (tooth colored)" ligs. They started to stain as I drink a ton of coffee. I had them changed to a light lavender yesterday. I actually really like the color! It's still super subtle, but they won't stain! I have my first adjustment in 3 weeks. Bring it on! I finally feel ready, and not scared, for this crazy braceface journey! :-*

So I left the clear ligs on the bottom as they were not stained. I do have a question though. What is this extra piece of metal attached to my wire? I keep forgetting to ask the ortho. May be a dumb question, but I can't find it on the trusty Google

Hey all! It has been quite a while since I have checked in! I am 6 months in now. Wearing 19 on 25 (? whatever that means) wires. Power chains in 6 weeks at my next adjustment. Still looking at another 6 months or so. I was looking back at pics and I can't believe the change! This was 5 1/2 months ago (bottom) compared to today!
