Leftover cement after braces?
Is it normal to have leftover cement after braces? I've had them off for about two weeks but it didn't really bother me until now, because i had been so excited. I can see "scuff marks" on my teeth from where the glue was drilled down. it still looks like there is a layer of glue on all of my upper teeth. I can feel it in certain areas. all of my lower premolars feel rough (not as bad as when they took them off, before grinding down the glue, but not smooth like my other Lower teeth), but I haven't noticed it much since I've had my retainer in so much. I will bring this up when I go back in 2 and a half weeks, but I'm just wondering if anyone else had this problem after getting them off. They did polish after grinding down the glue. My teeth look shiny but In bright light I can see that there is left over cement. are the scuff marks I'm seeing, scuff marks in my enamel or just from the leftover cement? They are NOT white spots. My teeth are a very healthy white shade because they were well cared for both before and during braces. I also have a scalar that I use at home, and when scaling some of my teeth, black marks appear, meaning there is leftover cement. And what I mean by scuff marks is like indents in my enamel where the glue was. It's not just a smooth surface like my second molars are. (My seconds never had braces on them)

You should totally go to your orthodontist because all they'll do is fix it! You most likely won't even have to pay.
