Hey guys
October 26, 2015, I got my braces. Weeks before, I had 4 teeth pulled out because there was crowding. I had an overbite, minor crowding on the bottom. Well since I've gotten my braces, i now have a gummy smile, my lips are crooked, the left side of my smile is higher then the other, I think I have TMJ because my jaw pops sometimes, I have migraines on the left side, ear pain. My teeth are straight but my face suffered a lot. I was looking at before pictures and my smile was much more straight, no gummy smile. I might get the braces off at April 17 if everything goes well but I can't believe that im stuck with this issue. What are my options?

I do not think there is very much you can do, aside from surgical procedures. The pulled teeth contributed to your issue, look it up on google, teeth pulling ruins facial aesthetics and the balance of the face. sorry

I disagree with damonmyarch - no one can say little can be done without knowing all of the details of your specific case. If you didn't have a gummy smile before and now you do, you can very likely reverse the changes in tooth position/gumminess with orthodontics, even with the pulled teeth. There are plenty of people who have had teeth pulled who do not have ruined facial aesthetics - there is no need to catastrophize!
If I were you, I would go get a consultation with a Damon certified orthodontist and see what they say about your situation. Damon archwires can widen your smile arc and also reduce gummy smiles (I'm in Damon braces and I've seen a reduction in my slightly gummy smile).
Good luck, and don't lose hope! Consult with multiple professionals!
