12 days with braces. Only one really sore tooth

I'm new here and new to braces. I only have the top braces on for now, and am back to eating most foods without pain. I have one tooth that is really tender if any pressure is placed on it, and it feels loose. The same tooth on the other side feels loose as well, but no pain. Is this something I should be worried about or is it normal and will go away?

It's normal and it will go away. Your tooth feels loose because it tecnically is, they're moving into place. This is a feeling you should get used to it and it's a good feeling. That's the magic of braces! Also, those teeth that hurt probably have a lot of pressure on them so they're sore. As the wire gets straighter that feeling should also subside but it will happen after every wire change, just a head's up.

It will go away. And then come back. And go away again. And come back on a different tooth. And wait for the "popping" sounds. It's freaky at first, but very cool. I'm past the year mark and my teeth still make that popping sound.

I'm impressed you can eat normal foods after only 12 days. Took me forever, but I had top and bottom put on at the same time and my molars couldn't touch for a while.
