Tooth pain

#1 Post by katiedominique »

So I've had my braces on for about 10 days and today I woke up and one of my teeth were hurting so much!! It was just one in particular, is this normal? Do you get one tooth that hurts or do all of them hurt at once?

Yep perfectly normal. As your teeth shift the pressure will be different on each one and some days you will feel it in one next day it'll be a different one, day after it'll be none and then all of a sudden it'll be all. Lol. All part of the adventure.

When I first got my braces absolutely all my teeth were hurting but since I've been feeling pain in just one or two teeth that I know the ortho said needed correcting.
At least feeling the pain you know that something is moving!

Yup, completely normal. It's all to do with your teeth moving and pressure from your braces.
Braced: April 07, 2017
Debraced: February 08, 2019
Sentence: 18-24 months
Actual time in braces: 22 months and 1 day
Reason: Straighten teeth, correct crossbite and edge-to-edge bite
