leaving school early?

#1 Post by rachelash »

so august 16th i'm getting my braces off, which coincidentally is my first day of school. my appointment is 10 minutes after school ends, so i have to leave a little early. the only problem is, i'm really nervous when taking to new people (specifically teachers), and i don't know how exactly to word to them that i'm leaving school early. any ideas how to tell them that i'm leaving early? (i know it sounds stupid but i get flabbergasted easily)

You can say "I have a personal appointment after school so I have to leave 10 minutes early." or "You can say, 'I'm getting my braces off today so I need to leave 10 minutes early to get to my appointment on time." It depends on how much info you want to share.

If you're in grade school, get your parents to call the school to let them know.
