Good luck for your braces journey! What type are you getting?

Just a little hint that my ortho told me when I had spacers. One of my came out (I may have been prodding it) and I spent about an hour putting it back in holding tweezers on either end of the band to stretch it to get back in. If one falls out, if you use dental floss to stretch the spacer to make it thin enough, it should go back with ease.
