Ortho says my teeth are now straight but THEY"RE NOT!!

#1 Post by Denley »

I don't know what to do. I have been in braces for almost a year. Ortho says the teeth are all straight now and it's time to take the braces off however there's a very obvious overlap on the bottom tooth in the front that she is denying is there. Like it is very obvious and she is completely denying it is there. I don't even know what to do. I had a consult with another provider but he said he wouldn't take my case because "you are so close to being finished why not just see it through with your current provider" Honestly at a loss what to do. Afraid of every appointment now because this continual back and forth argument. Has this happened to you? What did you do? What options do i have? I should add- I've already paid up in full. Thank you I would appreciate any suggestions. Another thing to note, this provider kind of harassed me to write her a review after I had JUST got the braces on. I would have wanted to write it at the end of treatment but she pressured me to do it immediately. I know I could change it, I don't really operate like that though I like to leave a nice review but I'm honestly not that happy with how my mouth is looking and some of the choices she has made along the way to get me to this point.

You can post pics if you like others to let you know you’re not crazy (or that you are! Lol)

But if you don’t want to do that I would suggest consulting a second opinion in person.

Also check your contract you signed in the beginning to see your options for “unsatisfactory” work.
