You seemed to do fine posting photos! I can't believe that is only four weeks; you've had as much movement in four weeks as I have in four months! But then, you are a lot younger. These 56-year old teeth move slooooooowly! Yours look great!

Thanks! I had adjustment on Wednesday and my whole right side top and bottom hurt and itch so much
i just keep saying no pain no gain.

I am 7 weeks in and can’t really notice changes from the front but can tell on photos I’ve taken looking down on my teeth, it’s exciting! Just had a spring put in between two bottom incisors to help make room for the one stuck behind to move forward so hoping that will be noticeable quite soon and once the space is made it will pull in relatively quickly.

I’m surprised that some of you have started to see changes so quickly.
I’m having a fixed brace fitted in a few weeks, im looking forward to seeing the progress :)
However, Not looking forward to all of the pain!

Within a month, I noticed slight changes in the alignment of my front teeth!

I started to notice changes within a month, but only on my bottom row (which had less crowding and were crooked in response to my top teeth).
I take pictures roughly every month, though, and that's probably the only reason I noticed the changes.

I've had my braces for six weeks and I haven't had significant changes. I experienced very minor changes in the first week or two and I only noticed it through pictures and comparisons. My bottom teeth straightened out slightly and they weren't that crooked to begin with. I would really really like for my front teeth to begin retraction, but they haven't budged at all yet!

within my 3rd day i noticed changes haha, though i also did just have some extractions the week before in that area. my lower front incisors getting slightly straigher and i can see a gap between them whereas for the past few years one was tucked behind the other due to over crowding.

I noticed changes within days - then the actual serious movements took time. I'm a bit odd (probably) but I actually took photos every day when I got up. My dentist thought it was really funny, but I'm glad I did. I could show him really subtle changes sometimes.
I had my braces for 5 months and got them off today! Those hundreds of photos are my treasures now - I'm even thinking about making a slideshow or something.
It definitely helps to keep you motivated when times are tough if you have photos to show the progress you've made so far. You can't always notice it yourself, but you can see in a photo.
