I have a deep bite so I just got my top braces 3 days ago and at the midline there is a bend in my wire that looks like this ^ does anyone know why it’s bent in this shape?

when you first get braces on, usually the wire is pretty thin so maybe something you ate pushed it up like that? I’ve never had a problem with my wife but I’ve read hay you can push us back with the eraser part of a pencil .

It's supposed to be there. Might be there to help position the wire in the center or might be putting specific forces on the teeth.
Round 3 (lifetime) Damon stainless applied 3/16/20 (after 4 weeks attempting invisalign) On for about 18 months
Night time elastics with invisalign retainers; still...
Double jaw surgery was 6/18/15...
Orthodontics never really ends...
I'm emphatically against extraction orthodontics!
