Using Higher Headgear Hole Numbers?

#1 Post by AutymGrace »

Hey Friends,

So recently my headgear has stopped hurting and it doesn't really feel like it's doing anything anymore. Right now I'm on hole number 4 with my headgear. Am I supposed to advance and go to number 5 when it feels like it isn't doing anything?

Thank you,
-Autym

I think you should ask your Ortho about that. Too much force and you may damage your teeth irreversibly.

Definitely call and ask. Don't try to be an orthodontist on your own.

ask the ortho, I recall reading a post from a person that decided she could speed up the process and kept moving up holes, in the six weeks between appointments she had @tipped@ her teeth and it took an extra 3 months to sort out
