Hiya,
Yes I have the exact same, my braces go on in 3 weeks time.
My two upper front teeth are pointing backwards intowards my mouth. I also have 10mm overjet and an overbite. I am having extractions aswell.
(Probably is rarer as no one has replied)

I have class 2 div 2. Been in traditional braces for 2 years with insanely heavy class 2 elastics doubled up. Unfortunately, my bite is not cooperating and I may end up just giving up. Hopefully you have a better experience!

That is disheartening. Was surgery an option for you? What does your ortho think you should do?EntrancedBoar91 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 9:09 am I have class 2 div 2. Haha Thanks, they went on last week.
Have you had any extractions EntrancedBoar91?
I've been given 30 - 36 months estimated time as I'm abit older

Re: anyone here have a Class II Division 2 malocclusion?
No, the ortho didn't think surgery would be necessary. He did recently use my thick steel archwire to flare out my bottom teeth a little more. That seems to have helped my bite a bit. He did say that I have worn down my teeth in a slanted way over the years so I think that has made my mouth a little more complicated! My top and bottom teeth are both slanted due to having an improper bite all my life... Hopefully I'll get to a point where I have a stable bite...tiffingirl wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 5:49 pmThat is disheartening. Was surgery an option for you? No I haven't had any extractions, unless you count wisdom teeth. I seem to have enough room. I think my issues stem from how I have improperly worn my teeth down over the years and, from what I have gathered from my ortho and the techs, I don't think my issues are very common. I believe that class 2 div 2 is quite treatable in most cases

Cool, lucky you. I need 4 premolar extractions and am getting slightly concerned it will change my facial profile
