I was just curious, as it seems that everyone has had the same color spacers, but what color were yours? everyone that i have asked said blue, and so were mine.
That would have been nice. With my fillings and crowns I couldn't see my spacers but I sure could feel them with my tongue and when I would eat. I thought I lost a couple because I couldn't feel them with my tongue anymore but they just got pushed way down. Having them a brighter color would have been nice than I could've seen that they were still there. Even the ortho assistant had difficulty seeing them.
The first set was blue, with one metal spacer in the back. The assistant couldn't get a regular one between my molars. That was awful. When those came out, I had some that were purple. I think they were a different thickness. (My ortho was using them to make space between certain teeth so he could slenderize them, and then move them towards the back to alleviate crowding in in the front.)
