blue rubber band stucked between ur teeth?

#1 Post by tantra_204 »

hi I am new here. I just got my braces today. but it's not the braces, the doctor just glued the brackets and put the wire (for the top teeth). Then he put a metal stuff between two of my back teeth each side, he said this is to open a gap to put the wire later on. But I am wondering, he put another blue rubber band between the next two back teeth, but it's only on one side. does anyone know what the blue rubber band for?I really appreciate it if anyone can tell me. Thanks ^^

To make a space big enough so a band could go on/around the molar.
