botttom brace

#1 Post by MarkupNorth »

Hi

After almost a year of having an upper brace, I decided to go ahead and get a lower brace. My bottom brace is being put on this coming Thursday.

My upper teeth are in front of my bottom teeth (overjet/overbite). My question is, I know elastics will fix this slightly but will it move my jaw forward? My side profile would be a lot better if my jaw came out further, will this happen at all through braces and elastics or can this only happen with jaw surgery??
