Cost of adult braces-chicago???

#1 Post by fashion1114 »

I'm thinking about getting ceramit or metal braces and obviously looking for the best price and service available in Chicago area. I found out that it may vary between $1,500-$6,000. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

I live on the lower eastern shore of Maryland. My braces cost about $5500.00. There are only two orthos even remotely close to where I live and they both charge about the same. My ortho is excellent! He or the assistants always answer questions and are very quick. They are also accommodating to my schedule (I am an educator)...So, I guess where I am going is...there is more to think about than just how much it costs. You will be in your orthos office at least every six weeks. The people you will be dealing with need to be friendly and accommodating to your needs. Afterall, you are paying them, it should not feel like they are doing you a favor. You should be able to get a feeling at your consultation. Be prepared to ask some questions, if they seem to busy to answer RUN AWAY and find someone else if you can!!!

I'm just south of Midway Airport. My braces cost about 4500 and they are for 2 years.
