I went and got my spacers in today. I got them in at about 3:00 and it's 7:00 now. No pain yet! *knocks on wood*
I told the assistant about this site and she was so amazed at how i had prepared!
I get my braces on next monday. I also found out that my molars are coming in, so i have to get those out...and i have a cavity, but that'll be fixed soon.
I will be getting spacers in mid-January - just wondering how you 'prepared' as indicated in your posting.
