No problem with keeping one's eyes on the goal, right?

A carmel apple with nuts sounds great and I don't even have my braces on yet (expander in February - I hope!).

Question for you "braces graduates": Are your teeth still tender for a few weeks after having braces removed? I imagine that after 2+ years of shifting and moving it would take some time to settle in and get back to where its comfortable to eat most anything.

I want steak!!!

I'm only on my 3rd day with braces, but I keep dreaming of steak. I hate having to eat rice and pasta all the time. I feel like I'll gain weight with all the carbs. Steak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd love to eat some very chewy bread crust on pizza. I'm glad I'm not really too food deprived, if I want to eat some pistachios my back two teeth are brace free, and I chew with those.

Ive thought about this a lot! nachos and biting into a huge sandwich like normal people. Im also would like to eat a toffee apple and popcorn....not that I actually would eat the two normally. In fact I havent had a toffee apple since I was about 5 and I am not a huge fan of popcorn even in movies. Its more that I cant eat it at the moment so it makes it the more enticing!

When I get my braces off (which is a hecka frickin' long time from now, probably a good 2+ years off after 20 months already :x ) I think I'll go to this really good chocolate factory store at the great mall and buy a huge caramel apple with nuts and chocolate and marshmallow sauce, oh they look so decadent! :D

Then I'll have a huge piece of fresh corn on the cob with salt and pepper and butter!

I also can't wait to eat rice and pasta and nuts and everything else without having to go back and clean it all out afterwards!

Hopefully my dreams will come true!

A big juicy hamburger - maybe a Big Mac. No one warned me about burgers before the braces went on. They warned me about pizza (which I had at my last pre-brace meal) and caramel (I ate a Snickers bar, too), but no one said "No burgers for you!

OK, now the thing I want to eat more than anything is the carmel apple, with chocolate, nuts and pieces of candy and maybe some mini marshmellows too. You know the ones you see at the candy store that are just huuuge!

You know I wasn't even craving this or even though about it untill other people brought it up, but now it sounds so good. Lets see only about 2years and 9months more, boy that sounds like a long time.
