Looks as if i'm on the mush diet for a bit, my powerchain is causing a bit of grief :? I found a good food to eat though, Dannon light n fit vanilla yogurt, and a banana cut up in it, soooo good!!! Pretty filling too, you can get a whole cup of yogurt(i bought the really big tub with about 4 servings in it) with no grams of fat, and only 12 carbs, what could be better then that? If you dont like bananas, why not try strawberries for blueberries, or what ever you want in there soooo goood!!! French Vanilla powdered slimfast is pretty good too, i like it anyways!! It keeps you full for a bit, and it has lots of vitamins in it, so your body gets everything it needs to be happy and function correctly!!! Just thought that i would share with with all you guys!!!!

Whoa, totally weird, my aunts name is Stacey Joe ********** lolz. That sounds pretty yummy!! I am watching the lbs though, so my food is more tailored to people trying to lose weight, or trying to maintain the same weight. But for a treat, i would definetely reccommend peanut butter and whip cream, sounds really good....dang it now i'm craving peanut butter LoLz

If I want something sweet I eat banana split ice cream and put tons of sprinkles on it but for lunch I usually take one of those microwavable bowls of Healthy Request soups, the chicken and rice kind. Good lunch, great for when I am too busy to leave my desk and I can eat it because it doesn't have wheat in it so I can have it.
I really could go for a chocolate peanut butter milkshake right now...I am craving the peanut butter too now.

I was dying for a peanut butter and banana sandwhich (southern grandmother! :D ) last night for dinner and I went so far as to buy the bananas and bread, but when I got home, I found that my roommates had eaten my jar of peanut butter and didn't even replace it! :x

You know what is real good and sweet, those tiny red banana's. Those are so good. Also a woman where I used to work with when I was in the lab used to cut up pieces of apples spread peanut butter over them and sprinkle them with raisins. Very tasty, a healthy alternative to a carmel apple...she was right the taste was similar and plus us metal mouths can eat it as long as you take the skin off the apple.

Ps-Alexa I am very sorry your roommates didn't replace the jar, I had roomies like that once. It is very inconsiderate. I would never think of eating someone elses stuff let alone eating it and not replacing it. You have to wonder where some people's manners are.

Me too, as a New Year's resolution.

And I have to say that a lot of "diet" food is a little tricker - crunchy salads are less brace-friendly than nice creamy mashed potato.

I'm trying not to think about soft chocolate ice cream, chocolate mousse, and velvety chocolate cheesecake... ;)

Soups are always great: low cal, warming and filling, and easy for braces.

actually lucy, the strawberry flavors of dannon light n fit are pretty sugary, but the vanilla want to bad, i think it has like 14 grams of sugar or sumthing like that. I only eat one banana a day, and thats with the yogurt, it was perfect for my teeth, i could barely eat today, definetely had to go with just mushy stuff, looking forward to my yogurt and banana tonight :D. I know that you cant just live off fat free, stuff, but when your teefers are sore, its better then living off really fatty yogurt and pudding  Thanks for that Karen, balance is essential, in every aspect of your life balance with yourself, with nature, in your relationships, so balance is of course a major part in your food, so i try to moderate my "sweets" Slimfast is fast becoming a good friend of mine. The wires and powerchain are getting a bit better, still exetremely tender teeth though :( My bite has totally changed overnight, my left teeth dont touch anymore, soo annoying!!!

Wow, my post turned into a short story

Yup there's sugar in our milk and bread. Bananas are fattening, but like everything else moderation is the key. I have been eating vanilla yogurt with no fruit that comes already in it, i think that that fruit is nasty, i prefer fresh fruit. I am in love with strawberries, so when they come into season i'm going to use strawberries instead. I cant really think of any kind of fruit other then bananas and strawberries, any ideas? Thanks everyone for the replies!!!
