My two cents...My ortho said they don't use the traditional retainers any more. He showed me what they use and it looks like an invisalign tray, just snaps over your teeth. Mabe that would be an option? :roll:

I have a clear retainer on the bottom and that seems to be doing its job fine-no movement there!

On my top teeth where I have the Hawleys retainer the gaps where I had my extraction have stayed closed (they started to open just before I got my retainer) but my left cebtral incisor is moving. the retainer doesn't seem to be that great at supporting my front teeth. Still I will bring all this up with my ortho and get back to you all
