Weeks from having them on to my first adjustment although the time between appontments seems to vary alot. I think it depends how busy my ortho is.

My first adjustment was exactly 3 weeks after I got my braces on, my second will be exactly six weeks. I think she'll slow it down a little the longer I have my braces on.

thanks everyone. just checking b/c i thought 8 wks might be on the longer side, but i guess avg seems to be between 6-8 wks.

How badly did the first adjustment hurt? mine is scheduled for the week of finals and i'm concerned that headache/pain might affect my performance.

this message post has made me feel a lot better as my first adjustment is due after 6 weeks which I thought seemed like a long time but seems to be the norm so I'm happy!
