Grinding / clenching solution given to me

There was a post last week about grinding and clenching and what to do. I'm not sure there was ever an answer. I went in to talk to my ortho yesterday about it and she gave me something named "StressGuard(TM)". It's like a mouth guard, but it's not bulky or restraining. It's a piece of plasticly rubber with a lip, so you can use it on top or bottom and it doesn't mess with your brackets. Worked well for me, only issue is that between the braces and the guard, I feel REALLY attractive at night (and I can't close my mouth). I guess a good night's sleep is worth it?

That's ok...no one is really looking at how attractive you are when you sleep right? It is like wearing your favorite PJs no matter how much they make you look like a kid or how many holes they have in them. They make you comfy and that is all that matters
