Did anyone have any teeth extracted for their braces? I had my upper 1st premolars and lower 2nd premolars + 2 baby teeth removed.

For braces round one, 4 premolars followed by 4 wisdom teeth after-the-fact.
(teenager)

For upcoming braces round two, 1 incisor, which I truly hope can be extracted after braces are on because I don't cherish the idea of running around having a missing incisor with no braces to cover.

Unfortunately, a few months ago I had to have a first molar extracted due to a fractured root (I am due to get braced in May but this was independent). Having had 9 teeth pulled for one reason or another has had no impact on the functionality of my mouth, jaw, chewing, etc. I will be getting an implant for the missing first molar, though.
