Hi,

I remember you coming here a year ago, telling you would have braces
with 'some controlled arch thingy'. Nobody here had this, even the
docs here didn't know much about it. Anyway, yes, it did work. Even
very well. It is unbelievable that this was done in 1 year. Many congrats
to you and your skilled ortho !!!

Great looking progress Jaws! I'm getting close to my one year and I hope mine look that nice when I get there. Did you ever think a year ago that your teeth would look as great as they do today? I hope you celebrated some :-)o

Thanks SO much for the comments everyone!

I never could have believed that my teeth would look like this in 1 year. They aren't totally perfect, but most of that is due to a tooth size discrepancy (a couple of my teeth are too small compared to my other teeth).

And you're right Clo, no one seems to have heard of this controlled arch procedure that I am getting done, but it seems to be working! Lets hope that it retains itself once the braces are off! I will keep everyone posted in terms of a debanding date :D

Wow, those pics are truly inspirational. Very awesome. I would love to hear more information about that arch control piece. Your teeth are sorda similar to mine, so maybe I could be a possible candidate. My ortho is pretty set on having my jaw broken though, I just don't want to do it. Great smile though! Keep it up!

Thanks again everyone!

SoCalBoi83--The procedure that was done on me doesn't seem to be very well-known, but you could ask your ortho about it. If you want more info on my procedure, you can look at my full story here:
