Upper teeth receding..?

#1 Post by ebjones1 »

My bite is very uncomfortable right now - My lower teeth actually hit the roof of my mouth, and since the teeth are moving, the top of my mouth is very sensitive.

I was feeling around up there this morning, and noticed that my gumline behind my two upper front teeth goes back quite a bit.. I'm not sure if that's normal, or if they've receded as a result of my teeth constantly hitting that part of my mouth.

My ortho hasn't said anything about it, but it concerns me.. Anybody else know anything about this?
