Update from "Who Pays"

#1 Post by forever_in_braces »

I wanted to let you know what happened after posting last month's topic "Who Pays?" (about getting braces a second time after Invisalyn because of an upwardly and outwardly straying tooth).
My new ortho said he'd put them on free of charge, and I have an appointment to do so in a few weeks. The entire process will take several months.
On one hand I feel like I shouldn't do it; after all, my teeth look a thousand percent better than they did 5 years ago, and -- let's face it -- it's not much fun to wear braces.
On the other hand, I've waited this long to have nice teeth, and since I notice (mostly in photos) that my teeth still don't look as nice as they could be, I feel like several months of braces might be worth it.
But then I feel kind of vain about the whole thing because I'm sure most people wouldn't even notice this.
Any thoughts?

Well you paid alot of money for those invisaligns. It is ridiculous not to get your moneys worth. I truly think that as consumers we need to make our money votes count. If we don't give these companies the feedback about their products and demand quality finished goods they wil never improve them and we will continue to pay more and more for less quality.

It's free! That would be a good enough reason for me! :)

If you're not happy with the results, then you need to do something about it! Don't think you're vain!
