hello there! I just had my first adjustment the other day and i thought they'd be tightening the original wire, but they put in a new one. It's much thicker and I THINK they said 20 20 or something like that. What's the purpose of the thicker one, is it supposed to be tighter somehow or what? I'm not even sure if they tightened it, because my teeth were only a bit sore today.
Also...I am sooo excited, it's been almost two months already and I was so upset when I got them and did not show them. Now, I think i smile more than ever and time passes by so quickly...pretty exciting I tell you. My ortho said that at the next adjustment they'r gonna put in some metal thing into my gum (TAD?? if such a thing exists)...I was just sort of overhearing things.
