rubbber bands put in b/w your teeth to give it some space so bands can be placed around your teeth

usually week before your braces

Usually on molars, newmetal. Not everyone gets them. My molars are bracketed only.

I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!
