Ok, I went for my 4th adjustment today and had a load of gear put in my mouth. First I had 4 springs put in to close up my premolar extraction gaps which seriously aren't too bad! Next I had 3 elastics put in to also close up the spaces and shift my midline. I've got 2 elastics on the top left and 1 elastic on the top right of my mouth. I have to change them every 24 hours. I can tell you though that I will be feeding off soup for a while!
I hope the discomfort is short lived. It will all be worth it in the end and that's what we're all striving for. Good Luck for lots of speedy progress.

Hi Henna,
Sounds like we got our braces on around the same time!
I too had a painful 4th adjustment, but all I got was a new wire, and some anchors in my wire.
New gear means more progress (so does pain I think... hehe).
Sounds like you had alot done.. Hope it settles down soon!
My teeth are always spongy... Sometimes I like to touch the tops and bottoms together because its a strange but weird feeling!!!! I'm hoping that means mine are on the move aswell!!! Seems to be mainly the back teeth at the moment!
Yep same here sjsarre my back teeth are mostly the ones that feel spongy. Some of my front teeth do too! nvcarissa thanks for telling me that 'the spong feeling' means that the ligaments are breaking away from the gums. It makes me a lot happier!
