I have the Thailands too Erica! They are super heavy duty ones. Lol, I am not sure they could get any stronger than these!

I just finished up with elastics last week. It feels so strange to not be wearing them anymore! My mouth feels too free without them!:)

3/16" medium force - they don't have a fancy name, but my ortho calls them "reds" as they are in a red bag. Presumably other sizes are in different coloured bags.

Gee, after reading all the names and animals I was feeling very left out. Nice to know there are others who don't get the cleverly-named elastics. I have 5/16", aka: "Blues" for the blue on the bag.

Anyone else find that the elastics are not real consistent in thickness? I find some that are practically as thin as a thread and others that are fairly hefty. The thicker ones definitely exert more force and I tend to search for them in hopes that they will accellerate the progress a little.

Am I the only one in Hawley-Russell elastics?

I've been mostly using the blue ones (3.5oz, 1/4"), but have also used green (3.5oz, 5/16") and red (3.5oz, 3/16").
