Clo, quite impressive YES!

I know you have no choice but to hang in there. However, I think you have a fantastic attitude and you are approaching this inconvenience in the best possible way. The road less traveled tends to have the biggest reward in the end.

Of course I don’t have as many elastics as you but I thought you’d enjoy this story. My 6 year old godson asked me last night why I had rubber bands in my teeth. I said because otherwise all my teeth would fall out since I had never brushed as a child. Poor little guy turned sheet white. I asked him if he brushed his teeth. He gulped, said yes and ran to the bathroom to brush again.

I LOVE IT! :D A friend of mine has a little girl around 8 months old and everytime I smile she giggles while she looks at my "shiny teeth!"

Chris, aren't little one the best?

Oh, and Clo, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?
So, I really liked the symmetry of your elastics.
They reminded me of an art deco stained glass, kinda like this:

Clo, my brace buddy! Comin' up on 28 months!

oh my goodness! You are such a trooper and you have such a great attitude about all of this! Wow! What an inspiration! :) I also have the same elastic configuration of the front elastics that are being used to try to close your open bite! I have only one on the left side to close an open bite where only my molars touch! I can't even imagine how you talk with all of those elastics, I find it hard enough with just one! Hopefully this works!

Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks for your replies.

That happens to be a major aspect of my life. I always tend to take the road
that nobody takes. Both literal and figurative. It makes it more exciting all
the way ...

@Eleni. OMG, that poor godson. Loved to read this, but this is hard for that
poor child. Both to him fearing these elastics now for his whole life and to
you, Eleni, as you now have to wear these elastics all your life ! I think you
put yourself with your back against the wall. The moment you do not wear
these anymore, he will know you told a lie. As your teeth do not seem to
fall out after all. At least that is what I hope for you ... So, you need to
wear yours all your life. Eleni gulped, said yes and ran to the bathroom
and whined 'what have I done' ...
So, it now gets even better. They call me here King of Elastics. And now
I have an art deco mouth too. My god, where will this end ...
One advantage though. Women seem to seek symmetry in the search for
a partner. So, there is still hope for me after all ...

@hannah164. This post of mine was dug up again because Jenny replied
to it. It is not how my braces look now, but the difference is minimal. But
indeed, they worked a bit as my bite closed a bit more. I'll update after
friday, when I have another adjustment. Anyway, thanks for your reply,
brace buddy !
