Mine is $4600 but that's after insurance pays $2000. That makes it $6600 total. I live in a high cost area of the country but that's including $500 extra for some advanced archwire technology that's supposed to reduce your time. This is for metal Damons.

Mine are $4100. My insurance pays $2000 and I pay the rest. I'm going to get ceramic on top, metal on bottom.

I had to put 80 down to start. My total amount for the 24 months is 3050. In which I pay 127.80 a month. Recently I was given a 100 dollar discount. My total is 2950, not bad.
I'm on traditional metal.

I have metal on top and bottom and my total cost was around $3800 I think. Well, actually, after records, I think it was right at $4000. My insurance pays half. Luckily, I have one of the rare insurance companies that makes payments monthly instead of quarterly (based on tx plan). So each month, I pay $77 and the insurance company pays the same. I had no down payment and my insurance even paid for half of my records! A pretty sweet deal, if I must say so myself:) Oh, I think it took about an hour to get mine put on (if that long) but I only got the top put on that day.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your treatment!

About $6500 US – Damon 3's – 10% discount for full payment off that amount – small, semi-swanky ortho office where I see the ortho everytime – prices in California generally skew higher
Damon 3s. On 2/15/2006. Off 2/21/2007!
Essix on uppers, Hawley on lowers.

Following up to my own post here...

Well I just had my second consultation and got not only a very different story but a very different price. This time $3800 - $2000 insurance as opposed to $6600 - $2000 insurance at the other place. So out of pocket $1800 versus $4600

Also a lot different story than at the other place.

mine cost $5500 in So. California. i put $1900 down and $150 a month for 2 years. I have top front six ceramic and the rest metal.

The top front six ligatures..i think there called.. do stain. I smoke a pack a week and drink coffee occasionally. I've noticed that curry stains it much quicker than cigarettes and coffee. I try to rinse my mouth with water whenever I do anything that may stain them.
