Estimated time: 20 according to my orthodontist, 24 months according to the paperwork I was given that described my case and treatment plan.

It's been just under 16 months and there's been a lot of suggestions that things are very nearly complete. I suspect I might be debanded before the 17 month mark.

Two years with surgery in the middle. I asked my ortho to not tell me when I would be done. I just want to walk in the office one day and be surprised with naked teeth.

18 months for me, but it depends, the ortho said I might need jaw surgery in the middle of the treatment or after, depends on how my teeth are doing.

I was given a 20 month estimated treatment time and I am coming up on the 10-month mark. I hope it's really close to the halfway mark, but I'd be even more thrilled if the braces were off sooner!

24-30 months forecasted before I started.
18-24 months forecasted when I switched from Ceramics to Damons.
Back up to 21-24 months as of my last appointment since I just got 4 extractions.

*sigh* no idea when I'll really be done, but like many others on the board, I'll be done when my teeth are ready... I just hope it's not more than 30 months, worst case...

Ortho told me 18 months in when they took my records. In treatment plan 20 months. I don't thinbk it will take that ,long, because my teeth are quite straight to start with.

It was originally estimated at about 2 years, but I'm not fussed really. It'll be done when it's done :D

I get my braces two weeks from today and my treatment time is estimated at 24-30 months. I'm hoping that it is closer to 24!

18 month estimate, of which 15 months have elapsed. Like a few others have said, the job will be done when it's done.

I'm estimated at 31 months. I've had top braces for almost three months and bottoms for a little over a month. I'd be nice if I could get them off before I graduate from college in May 2009, but I'm not counting on it, that would be 4 months early! I guess it'll be over when it's over. . .
