Oh, I didn't even think to mention the payment plan, but I guess I should.

$4820 total

$800 down payment split in half ($400 on B-Day, $400 on 1st adjustment)

After I pay off the down payment, I pay $168/mo for 24 months, no interest.

I'm in western Sydney.

I've been quoted AUD 6250 this covers full upper & lower, removal, placement of retainers and supervision during retention phase (approx 4 years). So to make it easier - USD 5,146.00

If I want to go with ceramic or gold brackets then an additional fee of AUD $750 per arch applies - so in USD that is 617.520 per arch

I haven't included the records / mouldings etc fee which I've already paid..

I was quoted an extra A500 per arch for ceramics, but that was 18 months ago. I've since had 6 repositioned, so I figure I'm getting my money's worth.

Um, I thought godzone was in the Sutherland Shoire (not that I'm a resident, I hasten to add).

Nice weather we're having today, aren't we?

thanks everyone for your feedback.

So I assume my price is pretty decent then.

I will be paying 30 month payments of $150.00 (that was with a $1000.00 down).

It would of been about $4000.00 if I had opted to pay in full but seriously unless your rich who can afford that! :)

I live in Spain.
So, my general dentist and my ortho are different bills.
Pre-braces work done: about 900€ (about 1200 USD)
Full titanium braces: 3000€ ( about 4000 UDS)
I had 2 appointments before i decided on my ortho- both were the same price, so i just went to the best known ortho (she is a professor for the Faculty of Dentistry at the State University).

I had one consultation and fell in love with the office and orthos. I payed $250 or so for records (molds, x-rays...etc. They took off 80 for my pano because i could get it from my dentist, but then they had to retake it and still didn't charge me for it!)....If I had gotten my insurance information in soon enough (Alliedhealth discount program) I could have gotten about 1k off but they quit taking that program before i could get it it....No big deal i'm still going with that ortho because I know of a few ppl that go there and they have had very good results. I am paying about $5500 for the rest. This includes my bite plate, retainer and retention for a year. I will be paying in monthly payments. The first three were $370 (Ouch for my wallet for 3 months!!!) and $165/month for the remaining 24 or so. I can pay that off early and it must be paid by the end of treatment. So if it takes less than 24 months then I have to pay it all! Oh well it's a bit pricey for my area i think but it will be worth it!!!

Oh, my payment plan is so much similar to yours , Lea..
My teeth are moving so fast.. and i don`t know if i should be happy or sad, because if my treatment finishes before 24 months , i`ll have to pay it off, so, hopefully if they are wrong they would be only couple of months wrong...lol

I paid $2,000 but that's only for the tops (ceramics) since I only have the top done. Everything included as well.

Gosh, I WISH some insurance company would pay for me. =/
