my stepdaughter will probably join me in braces this coming spring (march/april)....she's already been evaluated and had two teeth pulled as well. the ortho said that if those two perm. teeth don't come in where they need to be then she'll have to have braces on to correct them...but from the sounds of it she won't be in them very long. yeah for her! :jump: however i find it difficult for me to jump in happiness when i'm in 'chains' for 2 years or more!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :evil:
oh well.....i'm well on my way to a better smile!!! my ortho even said i am making great progress!!!! he's tickled with how well my teeth are moving!!!!!!! :banana:

No siblings but my oldest son got his about eight months before I got mine. Actually, seeing how much progress he had, how painless it was and how quickly it happened was one of the reasons I pursued treatment when I did. My wife had braces in the early 80's (when I should have too)and it sounds like orthodontics has come a long way since then.
