I don't think I've ever been embarassed by my braces. I thought I would be, but instead, I've loved them from day one. I've had them for six months now and all my teeth are in line - just working on some gaps and spaces at the moment - and for the first time, I'm giving big toothy grins to the camera. Everyone asks to see them and everyone comments on what a difference has been made in such a short time. I love my smile, and I love my braces. <3

No, but I hope no one notices that my clear ligs are stained.
I live on a small island and I see so many people, both adults and kids, with braces that I don't think anyone thinks twice when they see someone in braces.

Hey!
Hey! Glad to see you're not ashamed of them! I was at first..I'd cover my mouth when I laughed or ate and I always tried to keep my head down when I talked. But then I got used to them and didn't care if people saw them or not. Nobody even really notices, and nobody's ever said anything negative. I'm 25 and I've had crooked teeth my whole life. I finally decided to do something about it and I'm absolutely AMAZED at the results I've seen in just 5 1/2 months. Really I started seeing the major change at 4 months. It's so worth it! Good luck!
