How often do you go for adjustments? I see your ticker says 15 days until first adjustment but it says you have had braces for 2 months.
BTW I go every 4 weeks.
Hi Boohill! Yes, you're reading my ticker correctly.. it's close to 3 months from brace day to 1st adjustment!! I thought that was really odd, however I understand that my first wire is this weird, gentle type that applies constant, ever-changing pressure. It's some kind of memory wire. Anyway, the spiel I was given is that this type of wire continues to engage your teeth as they shift, providing constant pressure and so my 1st adjustment date can be much later than it would be with a "normal" (??) wire. Seems to be working wonders so far, I've had lots of movement so at least I don't feel like I'm in a holding pattern or anything! Things are still continuing to shift, it seems almost daily. Hopefully after my first adjustment, I'll be on some sort of regular schedule.
