Now that I'm not in so much pain I've just decided to stay with this orthodontist. I think I'll feel much better once things aren't so up in the air and I get my braces on. I think now, switching from one part of treatment to the other was making me nervous.

I know now that I just have to be firm and tell them when I don't understand and that something makes me uncomfortable.

This Dr of the two was actually a little more expensive and I liked his office staff more. I think I just need to find my groove with them. Sadly, I think early mornings will be better, though that means going to work with aching teeth. They try to see all their child patients during school hours so 9-2 so my last few appointments have been in rooms FULL of children and parents which is just chaos!

Thanks everyone for the advice- braces are a huge step and my poor teeth and I are just trying to take it one painful thing at a time.
