Poking Wires Every Adjustment

Thank you all for the very helpful replies. I am going to suggest all of them the next time I get an adjustment. I wish I had tapped the amazing brains at ArchWired earlier, because I think I only have one more adjustment at most before I'm done. At least others can learn from this even if it's too late for me.

It's funny how much pain I think is acceptable these days. It's like having braces as brought me to a whole new level of pain tolerance. The poking wire I wrote about earlier seems to no longer be registering on my pain scale and I hardly notice it any more.

I used to have crowded teeth but they are mostly straight now after 19 months of treatment and I still have problems with poking wires. I also have not had any extractions, although 1 of 4 of the orthos I spoke to in the beginning suggested extractions and screws...
