I felt pressure the first 5 minutes my ortho was putting the wire in. After she was done I couldn't feel any pain. It's been 2 hours since I got braced and I barely feel any pressure. I only do if I push my teeth with my tongue.

She explained to me that when the braces are first put on usually a thinner wire would be used because otherwise I'd be in to much discomfort if a stronger wire is used.
