UPDATE

Orthodontist didn't call me like he told me he would so I will call him again tomorrow and see if I can get his advice or whatever, I will also be calling my new dentist tomorrow to schedule an appointment for my cleaning/checkup and also see if I can get a consult with the Ortho consult to see what they say about my case.

UPDATE

Sent out an e-mail to the Orthodontist this morning and got a phone call from one of his assistants answering my one of many questions. So from the looks of it I have an appointment scheduled to go see him on July 06th @ 14:30 pst (2:30 pm) and we will discuss what is to be completed if anything can be done about the way my bite is turning out to become. I know he probably will say that an implant for the missing molar but I'm looking at options right now.

Stay tuned as July 06th comes upon us in 2 weeks.[/b]

Alright I had an odd experience with a customer today, we were talking about flagstone since I work at a query yard in my off time from the FD (Yes I'm back to working with the FD again) and she got to the end of the conversation and went onto a whole new subject about my smile/bite

WTH This chick is weird, she telling me that I should go to an orthodontist to have this checked out and telling me all sorts of things but anyways enough of that rant the question I had was the following,

"Being an avid open mouth breather *Not always though probably 6 hrs a day* would that be a cause for my teeth to relapse and the fact that I haven't used my retainers for over a year since they broke?"

I can't see how that would affect your teeth. Unless your holding your tounge against your teeth or something. I think its just a relapse...simply caused by not having your retainer.

The chick that came in the other day was back in my work but this time I was heading out to my other job "Back with the Fire department" so I was in uniform and damn that chick couldn't leave me alone, in fact she gave me her number so do I call it :? well I don't know I will sit on it for a day or two and maybe just maybe call her.

Also 3 more days then I go in for my re-exam to see what I can do about my current bite situation, hopefully nothing drastic but whatever guess I'll have to do whatever I have to do :)

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!

Maybe that whole thing about women and firemen is really true then. I don't get it but I hear about it since I have a friend who is married to a fireman. Of course I think women who make a big deal over someone's job are petty, immature, and strange but that's just me

PS: is she worth calling? LOL!

Well.

As someone who suffered through an apartment fire, I can tell you that when you see a fireman rush into your home as all of your possessions go up in flames and then comes out with your cat cradled in his arms, he becomes really, really, really, really attractive on top of any inherent attractiveness he already had.

It's the whole heroic thing. It's sexy!
I had my braces on for 2 years, 1 month, 2 weeks and 2 days.

Update:

No edit button causes me to continue making my posts like so :)
Anyways I called that girl back lastnight and we have a dinner date this weekend July 10th so let's see how that goes.

On a side note 2 hrs left to find out my fate of my relapse.

VERDICT IS IN:

- Just got home from the orthodontist and here is the follow-up he gave me.
- Minor to moderate open-bite up front where the smile shows.
- One molar in back is slanting outward which can cause minor to moderate headaches in the future if left alone.
- One molar area that is left with a gap is gonna get filled in with an implant "maybe"

Term: 6 to 8 months in braces again then retainers afterwords
Price: $2,600 my cost if insurance won't cover anything.

PS: I'm confused about this "HIGH" price I don't think my braces were that much the first round when I needed them for 18-24 months. [/u]

My braces cost $6500 (if uncovered by insurance) so $2600 sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me. I am a surgical case though, which might make it more expensive - not sure though, never asked.
Uppers braced April 15, 2010.
Wisdom teeth extracted April 30, 2010.
Lowers braced May 12, 2010.
BSSO & 3-piece LeFort I April 22, 2011.
Braces off July 3, 2012!!
