Could you watch someone with braces?

I have gold braces, and they aren't actually all that visible from ten feet away.

My orthodontist said that the silver brackets, because that kind of colour isn't a natural tone in people's complexions, are a lot more visible than gold, and I think that is the case.

Like the others have said, go for it - hardly anyone will notice. The worst you might get is a heckler, but I'm sure you could deal with that, right?
