Bite turbos, molar build-ups, bite plates

Even though I was given an option, I don't really think my ortho was seriously considering it.. and she decided for the buildups, which I got today.

I hate 'em. So far, it's a nightmare. I can't bite down, can't eat (probably due to that and my teeth are in pain due to just getting my lower braces on), and the cement buildups are sharp and my tongue is killing me.

I'm hoping everyone is right when they say that it only takes a few days to get used to them...

I had two teeth that were touching and yesterday my ortho said either bite trubos or elastics...
I dreaded the time I spent in elastics but since reading this thread, I think I am glad I am in elastics again!
